The race is not always to the swift but to those who keep on running. Though I may not be the first at the finishing line, I think it is the journey of getting there that matters more. Life is almost always an arduous journey, but for what does not break me, it will only make me stronger.

17 Jan 12 - As the lunar new year approaches, what better way is there to celebrate it than a dance to welcome the sping and along with any new hopes and luck it may bring!

5 Jan 12 - Life is a journey and for our feet that keeps us going, it is time to take a breather and get them some well deserved air time, not forgetting another pair for good company and to share a couple of stories too.

22 Dec 11 - Five golden rings, Four calling birds, Three French hens, Two turtle doves, And a partridge in a pear tree ..... at least there's what I heard .... and it is not even the first day of christmas! :)

5 Nov 11 - Finally, something to feel good about upon seeing Thomas and Aileen bringing their 12 years relationship into the next chapter of their life as husband and wife admist all the unhappiness I am facing recently in my work. It has been a while since i last attended a church wedding ceremony and it was indeed a beautiful one with Aileen looking radiant even though the hectic and heavy preparation work did not stop until the
very day. Congratulations once again my dear friends and enjoy your honeymoon!

9 Aug 11 - It's our nation's 46th birthday and I was at the Marina Barrage on an assignment. They were playing this year's national day theme song
"In a heartbeat" as I caught this moment of parade flypast from a fresh perspective within a beat of my heart. And the song goes:

3 Aug 11 - A surprise and accidental discovery. Capitol Theatre still looking majestic and oozes grandeur even in ruins and way past her finest hour. Let's hope they can restore this piece of Singapore's history back to her former glory one day!

20 Jul 11 - A stroll this evening brought me upon this little boy at the playground who is totally oblivion to my camera and immersed in his own play world. Brought back some really good childhood memories but more importantly, it has refuelled my belief of the need to find my own playground to play out my dreams too.

23 Jun 11 - She ain't no Lady GaGa but I still can't read her poker face, less figuring out how she does her "mask changing" act faster than my shutter speed. Time to loan a high speed camera from the Myth Busters!

27 May 11 - The F15s have been screaming past my office almost every other day at noon, in preparation for the RSAF open house over the weekend. I rushed out, rooted to the same spot at the same timing with my camera almost every other day when i hear its deafening scream
during its low pass maneuver towards its nest. Finally caught it today at exactly where I want it to be. Perseverance does pay off this time!

23 May 11 - The fields of Dandelions was especially glittering against the setting sun this evening, as if calling out to say: "Hey World! Look at me! I'm a Dandelion but not exactly everything you thought I might be. I may not be a flower but who is to decide that I am a weed?"

9 May 11 - Will the future of our nation be as vibrant as our skyline after the recent election or is it just a slate of empty promises to garner our votes and support by the ruling party yet again? Would this be Home, truly? A place where I know I must be? Where my dreams wait for me and the river always flow? Where I know it is a place which i can call Home? Fingers crossed.

4 May 11 - I do have the deepest respect for people who would stand up and fight for their dreams and faith despite suffocating against the odds, taking a path which others would not even dare tread or even have the slightest courage to think about. Mr Chiam, you make me wanna be living in Toa Payoh-Bishan GRC for once to show you my support and my 21 guns salute. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Enough said.

17 Apr 11 - It has been a while since we have such amazing weather & great quality light admist our inter monsoon season. The evening sun was just as amazing & jubilant as Juliana, the mum-to-be, as I try to capture some of shots of her & her bulging tummy before her delivery next month!

19 Mar 11 - The town of Ballarat certainly has its unique charms amidst the peace and tranquility as we took a walk around before we leave.

In the morning when the sun hangs high,
And it's too bright to sing a lullaby,
Out from Book City on a wooden bench,
With a great pick from the shelf between my hands,
I wasted no time to take a look,
For new friends and companions in a story book.

18 Mar 11 - The beautiful yet chilling sunset signifies the end of our 5 days shoot in Ballarat. We could not find any pilots to pose for us in this very last scene. Absolutely no way would any photographer let such a KODAK moment slip past, we quickly switched to the self-timer mode and went in front of the camera instead of behind it in time to catch this silhouette scene before the sun is gone with the wind. Nabbed it!
